Our project experience in the area of contaminated land risk assessment is extensive. The contaminated land surveys (soil survey/assessment) carried out by Soil Environment Services have ranged from small garage sites to large former coal field sites. Work in this area is highly regulated and we adhere strictly to prescribed guidance and legislation so that a land development or remediation project can progress effectively.

A phased assessment programme is undertaken and we include early consultation with the regulatory authorities. This may mean that only a desktop survey is required or, at the other end of the scale, a full site investigation ans soil survey.
