Soil
Electrical Conductivity (SEC) or ground Earth Testing
Soil Electrical Conductivity or ground Earth Testting is measured
with a Metrohm E1610 Earth/Ground Tester using the Wenner 4 electrode
equal spacing method.
A site can allow a number measurements to be made, each along 15
m sections. Measurements are typically made at 0.5 to 1 m bgl.
Soil type, temperature and moisture are measured and averaged for
assessment with the SEC data.
